ashgrove.ie · prepared for Ashgrove Renewables only

94% of your search traffic is people already searching for Ashgrove by name

This review is about who your website brings in. We went through your search rankings, your site and your reviews. The main finding: of your 1,900 monthly Google visits, 94% are people who already knew to search for Ashgrove Renewables by name. The real service searches you already rank for, solar panels limerick at 2nd, derelict house grant at 8th, barely register, because each one only brings in a handful of clicks. Meanwhile your keyword count is down 2.5% this month, and when the site is shared on Facebook or WhatsApp, the preview title that shows up is just the word "Home." It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Real rankings exist. Almost nobody outside your own name finds them

Your site ranks for 157 searches in Ireland, and traffic is real, 1,900 visits a month. But 94% of it is your own brand name. The service and county searches you already rank well for, several in or near the top 10, bring in only a handful of visits each, while your single biggest missed search sits on page four.

What people GooglePeople / monthYour situation
solar panels limerick260You're 2nd. Worth 13 visits a month.2nd
derelict house grant2,400You're 8th. Worth 16 visits a month.8th

solar panels cork88016th, in your own home county.16th
sustainable energy ireland1,30020th.20th
insulation grants48014th.14th

This isn't a typical ranking gap. Several real searches already sit in or close to the top 10. What's missing is scale: vacant property grant, the biggest single search in this list at 3,600 a month, sits on page four while your smaller wins bring in a trickle each. The brand strength is real. It just isn't being handed off to the searches that would bring in people who've never heard of Ashgrove.

02 The specifics

Four things holding the numbers down

Weak
Real top-10 rankings still bring in only a handful of visits
Solar panels limerick at 2nd, derelict house grant at 8th, better energy homes scheme at 6th, all real, all currently worth 11 to 16 visits a month each. Good positions on modest searches only go so far.
Missing
Your biggest missed search sits on page four
Vacant property grant gets 3,600 searches a month, more than any other term in this report, and your page for it sits 37th. This is the single largest gap between search volume and where you currently rank.
Duplicate
Three pairs of pages share identical titles
Your Privacy Policy, your Contact page, and a vacant property grant flyer each exist twice, word for word the same title on two different addresses. Google splits credit between them each time.
Weak
When the site is shared, the preview title just says "Home"
The technical tag that controls what Facebook and WhatsApp show when someone shares your link is set to the single word "Home," not Ashgrove Renewables. Anyone sharing the site sends a link that doesn't name the business.
Worth noticing

None of this is a design problem. The site already has a real installer photo, SEAI and Bord Gáis accreditation badges, and a webinar programme running since 2001. These are structure problems, and steady monthly work fixes them, not a redesign.

03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when Ashgrove Renewables comes up on Google today, next to what it should say. The current version is decent but doesn't mention Cork or your rating.
What Google shows now
https://ashgrove.ie
Solar Energy Company in Ireland | Ashgrove Renewables
Get SEAI grants for solar PV & energy upgrades from Ashgrove Renewables, your trusted solar energy company in Ireland. Reduce your carbon footprint.
What it should show
https://ashgrove.ie
Solar Energy & Home Upgrades Cork | SEAI Grants | Ashgrove Renewables
Solar PV, home energy upgrades and vacant property grants across Cork and Ireland since 2001. SEAI One Stop Shop registered. 4.8 stars from 82 Google reviews.
Fix 2 · One page per search
For each search below, pick the page listed as the owner, and build it out around the exact phrase instead of a related one.
vacant property grant → owner: /vacant-derelict-grant/, 37th today despite already ranking 8th for a related phrase. Work the exact term into the title and opening line.
solar panels cork → owner: /solar-energy-solutions-in-cork/, 16th today. Real Cork project photos and pricing, matching what already works on the Limerick page.
solar near me → owner: one clearly Cork-based page. Currently split across four different pages and positions between your Limerick and Cork versions.
Fix 3 · The remaining quick fixes
Small, fast, and all verified against the live site.

Set the social-share preview title to Ashgrove Renewables instead of "Home"
Fill in the homepage's empty main heading with a sentence naming Cork and your services

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

The service and grant searches this report covers, several already ranking respectably, add up to around 6,900 people a month typing them into Google. Right now your brand name alone brings in 94% of your traffic, while these bigger, real searches sit just outside where the clicks start. You know how many of those searches turn into a job for you, and what a job is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Why sooner beats later

Your keyword count is down 2.5% this month. Brand searches will always find you, people already know your name for that. It's the other 6% of your traffic, the part that could actually grow, that's currently shrinking.
